في إطار مبادرة “طرابلس للسلام – حماية الاستقرار في لبنان”، بالشراكة مع بلدية طرابلس، ممولة من صندوق الأمم المتحدة لبناء السلام (PBF)، وتنفذها من قبل المنظمة الدولية للهجرة (IOM)، برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف). و بالشراكة والتعاون الوثيق مع المديرية العامة للتعليم المهني والتقني،
ويهدف المشروع إلى تعزيز السلم الاجتماعي والاستقرار في طرابلس من خلال معالجة العوامل الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المسببة للنزاعات، وتعزيز مشاركة الشابات والشباب في الحوكمة المحلية، وتشجيع التنمية التي يقودها المجتمع المحلي.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن برنامج التمكين الشامل الموجّه إلى 450 شابة وشاباً من الفئات الهشّة، والهادف إلى تعزيز مشاركتهم الفاعلة في مجتمعاتهم إلى جانب تطوير مهاراتهم المهنية والحياتية وتعزيز قابليتهم للتوظيف وربطهم بفرص العمل في عدد من القطاعات الحيوية.
وقد انطلقت البرامج التدريبية في المعاهد و المدارس الفنية الرسمية المعتمدة كمراكز تدريب في طرابلس. بمجموعة من الاختصاصات المهنية التي تستجيب لاحتياجات سوق العمل، وتشمل:
- مساعد كهربائي
- أمين صندوق (كاشير)
- مساعد مدرب رياضي
- مساعد خدمة في المطاعم
- خياطة
- مساعد ممرض
ويتضمن البرنامج، إلى جانب التدريب المهني، مجموعة من المسارات المتكاملة التي تشمل التدريب القائم على الكفايات (CBT)، وبرامج المهارات الحياتية والإرشاد المهني، ومبادرات التماسك الاجتماعي، إلى جانب برنامج النقد مقابل العمل (CFW) ومبادرات يقودها الشباب، بما يسهم في تعزيز دورهم ومشاركتهم الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
وتجدّد المديرية العامة للتعليم المهني والتقني التزامها بتوفير بيئة تعليمية وتدريبية داعمة للشباب، وتزويدهم بالمهارات التي تساعدهم على بناء مستقبل مهني أفضل، إلى جانب تعزيز التعاون مع القطاع الخاص بهدف ربط التدريب باحتياجات سوق العمل والعمل لإيجاد فرص عمل لائقة ومستدامة للشباب.
As part of the “Tripoli for Peace – Safeguarding Stability in Lebanon” initiative, implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Tripoli, funded by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF), and carried out by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), in close partnership and cooperation with the Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education (DGVTE), the project aims to promote social cohesion and stability in Tripoli by addressing the socio-economic drivers of conflict, strengthening youth participation in local governance, and fostering community-led development.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive empowerment programme targeting 450 vulnerable young women and men, with the objective of enhancing their active engagement within their communities, developing their vocational and life skills, improving their employability, and connecting them with employment opportunities across a range of key economic sectors.
Training programmes have officially commenced in accredited public vocational and technical institutes and schools serving as training centres in Tripoli. The programmes offer a range of market-driven vocational specializations designed to meet labour market demands, including:
- Electrician Assistant
- Cashier
- Assistant Fitness Trainer
- Restaurant Service Assistant
- Tailoring
- Nursing Assistant
In addition to vocational training, the programme includes a set of integrated pathways encompassing Competency-Based Training (CBT), life skills and career guidance programmes, social cohesion initiatives, as well as a Cash-for-Work (CFW) programme and youth-led initiatives. These components contribute to strengthening young people’s social and economic participation and enhancing their role in their communities.
The Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education reaffirms its commitment to providing a supportive educational and training environment for young people and equipping them with the skills needed to build a better professional future. The Directorate also remains committed to strengthening collaboration with the private sector in order to align training programmes with labour market needs and create decent, sustainable employment opportunities for youth.
